This is an activity sampler. Transportation Trio activities can be found within NEED’s new transportation guides and throughout other NEED titles.

These activities will introduce students to the ways we get from “Point A to Point B” and how we move the things we depend on. Students will become familiar with the various modes of transportation, how energy flows in transportation vehicles, the fuels available, and how far we can travel using various fuels. This Transportation Trio makes a great set of lessons for use after an oil and natural gas unit, and also works well in a multidisciplinary setting, as it incorporates mapping and mathematics skills.
