Grades 9-12

These hands-on, critical thinking activities help students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the scientific, economic, environmental, technological, and societal aspects of wind energy. Students are challenged to design the optimum blades for a turbine and consider the best place to locate a turbine. The kit comes with a Teacher Guide, a Student Guide, and the materials necessary to conduct the activities, including two KidWind™ Geared Turbines.
