Participate in small group and large group discussions on what you’ve been able to accomplish and what’s planned for the future. What student engagements were interesting or notable, what advice and inspiration can you gain from the others?
8:45 a.m. Energy Career Guess Who?
Play a quick game to explore careers in energy and compete for prizes.
9:15 a.m. Saving Energy – the Why?
Learn more about energy efficiency and conservation. Explore some quick energy conservation content and easy activities that reinforce math and team skills, while promoting energy conscious actions. For those who have scheduled audits – learn more about what to expect!
10:00 a.m. Quick Break
10:05 a.m. Energy House
Explore conduction, convection, and radiation along with the benefits of insulation in this hands-on design challenge!
11:30 a.m. Climate Web Game & Greenhouse in a Beaker Demo
Energy and climate changes are connected. These activities can help students learn about the science of the atmosphere and changing climate, and how our systems and actions impact each other.
