NEED can be your partner in creating and delivering workforce development and career readiness content. NEED has been working with partners to create hands-on content and training for students of all ages – from middle school to adults in need of a career change. NEED works with partners to customize the content to fit the program needs. For more information on programming, please contact NEED at info@need.org.
Curriculum
The NEED Project provides curriculum on a variety of energy topics including energy transformations, energy sources, electricity, transportation fuels, and energy efficiency & conservation, and workforce development in the energy sector. Career-focused content can be its own module, focused on preparing workers for a job in a certain field, or the career content can be contained within a standard classroom-style unit to help reinforce content. Take a peek at some examples of existing units. For more information about partnering on future curriculum, please contact NEED.
Training and Programs
NEED works with individuals, organizations, schools, professional societies, and utility providers to provide training in the areas of interest. Trainings are tailored to fit the needs of the partner and can incorporate custom curriculum, speakers, tours, and more. Programs can fit any age range. For more information about creating a training program, please contact NEED.
