8:00 a.m. Register, breakfast, and paperwork
Take a quick pre-workshop assessment and meet fellow attendees.

8:15 a.m. Welcome & PEEP 2.0 Program Review
Get a rundown on all PEEP offerings, learn about the curriculum, and play a fun energy game.

8:45 a.m. Review of Kit Opportunities
Participate in an fun energy-source themed challenge for prizes. Review/walkthrough the kits available for PEEP participants. Discuss activities, leveling, and adaptations in a community format.

9:45 a.m. Energy Enigma
This activity will evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the major energy sources in an innovative debate format.

10:45 a.m. Electricity Generation
Pick your generator model of choice – Wind Can Generate Electricity, Science of Electricity Model, or Hydropower Turbine

12:15 p.m. Lunch

1:00 p.m. Hydrogen Small Scale Electrolysis
Hydrogen is all the buzz. How do we create hydrogen, and how does a fuel cell make use of hydrogen fuel?

1:45 p.m. Renewable Natural Gas and Biomass
Complete our quick “biomass in a bag” activity to explore biomass, biofuels, and renewable natural gas. While the gases build, participate in the new-and-improved Natural Gas Story.

2:30 p.m. Energy Careers Exploration
Play Personality Party and learn about team building and how personalities play a role in group projects in school and the workforce.

2:50 p.m. Wrap-Up, Act 48 Credit, Evaluation and Kit Request

3:00 p.m. Adjourn
